The trip continues through the unexplored lands of the Italian cinematic groove, unearthing new pearls buried for too long. While the previous chapters consisted of lost jazz-funk materials, mostly recovered from the mythical Italian RCA archive, this time this new volume concerns more in frightening and amazing tunes, used for horror, thriller, erotic and violent-pop movies.

A superb album featuring marvelous tracks – from bossa to pop-jazz – this original soundtrack also features a couple of tracks by Carlo Rustichelli; two dreamy, sensually vocalized melodies. One of Piccioni’s lesser known masterpieces that truly embodies that golden time period, and a real beauty for every 60s jazz lover.

More jazz-funk, latenite breaks, cinematic prog & psych from Italian untapped film music archives (1968-1978), a deep journey into the secret history of Italian Library music, dedicated to sounds that were designed for a cityscape pervaded with action, car-chases, and high-tension scenes set in smoky nightclubs: flavors from some of the most hip names from the Italian scene like Alessandro Alessandroni, Piero Piccioni...

The infamous Italian sexy-comedy genre now has its own saucy compilation. 21 cuts, including 13 tracks never published before on any format, taken from the finest original soundtracks of the genre. From groovy disco bangers and charming jazz-funk, sleazy-listening and rock blends, to analogue electronic experiments, pure "aerobic groove" that spells out the melodic action of female starlets like Gloria Guida, Edwige Fenech, Nadia Cassini, Lilli Carati, and all the other heroines in this genre of film whose main task was not only to tease and undress, but to dance on the screen.

Jazz, mellow-funk, downtempo breaks, and incredible rock blends, make this record a refined portrait of the 70’s American way of life, viewed through the fully Italian lens of Alessandroni’s sensitivity. This should be considered as the definitive act to re-estabilsh Alessandroni's leadership into the library music scene, and beyond. Deluxe reissue of one of the most rare and sought-after Italian library albums composed by the legendary, Alessandro Alessandroni!
