On Oneness, trumpeter and composer Matthew Halsall has fashioned a compendium of pieces that are fixed between spiritual meditative repose and poetry in motion. The collection of seven tone poems was recorded over three sessions in 2008 and were only released in 2019.

Our Man in Paris is a 1963 jazz album by saxophonist Dexter Gordon. The album's title refers to where the recording was made, Gordon (who had moved to Copenhagen a year earlier) teaming up with fellow expatriates Bud Powell and Kenny Clarke, both Parisian residents, and native Parisian Pierre Michelot. Powell, Clarke and Michelot, under the name The Three Bosses, had played together often in Paris since Powell moved there in 1959.

Godiego (ゴダイゴ Godaigo) is a popular band from Japan, consisting of Mickie Yoshino, Yukihide Takekawa, Takami Asano, Steve Fox, Tommy Snyder and Yoji Yoshizawa (all but Snyder were born in Japan, and Fox's mother is Japanese). Over their 40 year career (with hiatuses), Godiego released 27 singles and 27 albums in Japan.

Saiyūki (西遊記) or Magic Monkey is a soundtrack released by Godiego for the television show of the same name, known as Monkey in the west. After its initial release in 1978 as an LP and Compact Cassette, it was recognized by the Oricon as the number 1 selling record and cassette for 1979.
